The instrument with a Stradivarius mark was seized from a sports coach and found to be a fake, according to Interfax citing a representative of the press service of the Mid-Urals Transport Police. The man said he bought the violin in Moscow on Arbat for 12,000 rubles; experts questioned its value and decided to return it to the owner.
